Last Two Standing Alice woke up one morning and everything was different. She went outside and there was nobody around. No cars on the streets, no birds chirping, no people walking their dogs. Nothing. It was as if the world had suddenly emptied out. Alice searched the town, but she was the only one there. She didn't know what to do or where to go. She was scared and confused. Days passed and Alice's sense of isolation grew. She was sure she was the only person left on earth. She began to talk to herself, to fill the silence. She would write notes and leave them around town, hoping that someone, somewhere, would find them. Then, one day, Alice saw a light in the distance. It was a small fire burning on a hill. She ran towards it, desperate for human contact. As she reached the top of the hill, she saw a man sitting by the fire. His name was Jack. He had also woken up to an empty world and had been wandering for days before he found the fire. Alice and Jack were both overjoyed...
